The west wing of the FC Bayern Stadium in Munich was outfitted with a lightweight cable truss system for the roof, utilizing existing concrete foundations as anchors. The new design complements the cable-supported glass roof of the east wing. The structural system features 17 cable trusses spanning between 35 and 80 meters, with a ring cable connecting the truss cables within the stadium. The design, performed to German standards, was overseen by Dr. Saad, who ensured compatibility with the existing ring beam foundation and managed the creation of all elements.
