The proposed cable structure utilizes the spokes wheel principle to create a unique and visually appealing design. A strong circumferential compression ring, supported by vertical cables and a V-shaped steel structure, forms the roof’s crown. The PTFE-textile membrane cladding is double-curved and supported by radial and tangential cables. Dr. Fathy Saad was responsible for analyzing and designing the roof, including cables, masts, foundations, and anchor cables.
